“Walk Slowly, and Bow Often”
Adventurers on a Contemplative Path
April 25-27, 2025
Adventure means exploring unknown territory and that can be exciting, transformative, and scary. Walking a contemplative path is an adventure in that we engage The Way of Unknowing. We consciously let go of the illusions of control and separation from God and from one another. Experiences of oneness can result. Our sessions will take us into the heart of the contemplative path, and our practices will help transform ideas into direct experience of the Divine.
A number of our contemplative practices are like ecotherapy, tapping into the innate healing of feeling our oneness with all beings in the natural world. And these can be done out on the land, looking at the land, or even imagining the land. We will have times of actually being outside that everyone can access (there are rockers on lovely porches), and there will be absolutely no pressure to walk the land even for a few minutes for those who can’t or choose not to do that. Sessions will each conclude with Sacred Circle Sharing.
